What if I lose access to my wallet?
Recovery is built into the registry — set a recovery path when you register so a lost key doesn’t mean a lost name.
Can someone else register my name if I stop using it?
No. There’s no renewal and no expiry — a name you hold stays yours indefinitely, active or not.
Is my ArcNS name the same as an ENS name?
No — ArcNS is an independent registry built for Arc. Names don’t carry over from ENS or any other chain’s registrar.
Can a namespace like .circle ever be shut down?
No. Namespaces run indefinitely — there is no sunset mechanism in the registry. If you no longer want a name, list it on the marketplace instead.
